IT Tallaght Work Placement Programme

Work Placement Programme for computing students run from the Department of Computing in IT Tallaght.

The programme is now in its 4th year and we are very eager to foster relationships with companies and professional associations like Soft Test Ireland. We are now starting the process of planning to place our computing students in industry for next year. The students' academic background and practical skills enable them to work in a supporting role in the following areas some of which will be of interest to some of your Soft Test Ireland members:

Technical Support
Software Testing
Network Support
IT Operations
Computing Services

IT Support Help Desk
IT Installation
Network Planning & Administration
Computer Applications Support
Security Management

Placements will typically start in early June '10 (students finish exams mid May) and end in December '10/ mid January '11. Students will be available for interview from this November onwards.
